There are several other dominant Iowa gambling dens, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a water based gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. Another Iowa river based casino, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. water based gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday blackjack matches.
Iowa casinos offer an excellent amount of tax revenue to the state of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a good many state wide activities. Tourism has grown at a rapid rate along with the requirement for services and a growth in jobs. Iowa gambling dens have contributed to the expansion of the economy, and the excitement for betting in Iowa is widespread.
