Being Taught From My Gambling Failures

First to clarify why I write this article. I have been wagering on the internet or at land-based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are flat broke. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to track your losses and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel sick in your stomach and the more you try the quicker you lose.

When you see that you’re ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and again and again, trust me, this method hardly ever functions. Say you’re playing on slots, have a bankroll set to the side prior to beginning your action. DO NOT exceed that boundary, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate cup. Do not use your successes no matter what. Once you have played through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it is on the web or at a land-based casino, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, a different time.

Remember, gambling is assumed to be FUN not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, don’t even begin.
